Rolando Sandrea, a Chemical Engineer from Venezuela, decided that one day he would own a restaurant that served the food of his native land. Thanks to a job layoff, Rolando’s dream came true with the opening of Ávila Arepa this summer. And, thanks to that layoff, we get to benefit from some very fine Venezuelan offerings.
You can read about Avila Arepa in my CBC web article, or listen to my on-air review here.
Better yet, just head over to 10760 – 82 Ave and experience all the goodness for yourself.
