An update on the Yak meat available from Springridge Ranch near Pincher Creek: Ranchers Russ and Melissa Friesen have started their own blog, you can find it at https://www.springridgeranchyakcrossbeef.blogspot.com/ So far there’s still only one place to purchase the meat in Alberta and that’s at Horizon Meats in Calgary. It sure would be wonderful to have a regular supply of it here in Edmonton.
