Something strange is happening: In the past month,  I purchased Jeremy Fox’s On Vegetables, and I ate at a vegan restaurant—not once, but twice.

I feel I’m a bit late to the party, but what I’ve found is that plant-based foods can be filling, and vegan food doesn’t suck, if properly prepared.  The restaurant I ate at is Die Pie (11215 Jasper Ave.) where they hold the claim of being Alberta’s first plant-based pizzeria.  They also offer great craft beer for very affordable prices ($6 or $7 for a 16 ounce glass).
