Plant-based offerings were the hands-down winner for 2018 which was a surprise to many of us here in the capital city of Alberta.

It was also a good year for smaller restaurants serving Asian foods: Kanto with Filipino food, Tang Bistro with Northern Chinese and Formosa Bistro with Taiwanese dishes.
