My first review at CBC radio after taking a three-month break is for Toast, a restaurant that opened this spring in the Oliver neighbourhood.
To be absolutely honest, I guffawed when I saw the sign go up in the old Bru Coffee space. Hadn’t the fancy toast phase passed? Aren’t we, at this point in 2019, post-toast?
